Using Blindspin
By using Blindspin, you agree to these terms and the applicable terms of each music provider you visit or stream from. Use the service lawfully. Do not manipulate rankings with bots or repeated automated events, interfere with the service, bypass provider restrictions or use it to copy or redistribute copyrighted material.
Music previews and ownership
Blindspin does not maintain an uploaded or permanently stored audio library. Audio originates from public third-party APIs and provider streams, currently Audius and Deezer. Playback may pass through Blindspin’s streaming relay and temporary delivery caches to enable the visualizer; it is not always a direct browser-to-provider connection.
The initial discovery clip is normally 15–30 seconds. Deezer supplies promotional previews, typically 30 seconds long. Audius supplies streams from which Blindspin plays a short discovery segment; saving may continue playback where the provider permits it. Apple Music previews, if integrated, would be governed by Apple’s terms. We do not claim every stream is an officially licensed 30-second partner preview or that Spotify or Apple Music is currently an active audio integration.
These short listens foster underground artist discovery and lead listeners to the artists’ own music pages. Audio, artwork, names and related material remain the property of their respective rights holders. API availability is not proof of permission for every use. Blindspin does not grant download, redistribution or commercial-use rights, and does not imply an official partnership or endorsement by the providers.
Availability and rankings
Tracks, links and preview availability can change or be removed by providers. Recommendations, Heat, rarity, Wattage and Champions are discovery indicators, not guarantees of quality, income or placement. Weekly rankings start a new period each Monday at 00:00 UTC; all-time totals continue to accumulate. We may correct errors or exclude abusive activity.
Advertising and external links
Advertisements are separate from music recommendations. Visiting an advertiser or streaming service takes you to a third party governed by its own terms and privacy practices. We do not guarantee third-party offers or content. Campaign acceptance, payment and placement are subject to separate arrangements with the advertiser.
Copyright / DMCA takedown notices
Artists and rights holders may request removal of a track listing, artwork or link they believe infringes their rights. Send copyright notices to jarad.tokich@gmail.com with the subject “Blindspin copyright notice”. You can also report source content directly to the originating music provider.
A removal notice should include:
- Your name and reply contact, and whether you own the rights or act for the owner.
- The copyrighted work and the exact Blindspin track, page or shared-deck URL at issue.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Valid notices will be reviewed and disputed listings or links may be disabled as appropriate. Removing a Blindspin listing does not remove a provider’s source audio. This notice is not a representation that a DMCA agent has been registered or that statutory safe-harbor requirements have been met.
Service limits and changes
Blindspin is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted playback or availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties and liability for indirect losses arising from use or third-party services. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. These terms may be updated as the service changes; the date above identifies the current version.
